Bei der jungen Liga hat es nicht ganz gereicht, aber immerhin wurde Gary Johnson von Eurobasket zum ProA-Spieler des Tages gekürt:

American point guard Gary Johnson (188-PG-82) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Chemnitz, receiving a Eurobasket.com ProA Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Cuxhaven (#12, 8-11) 88-78. Chemnitz is placed at 4th position in German ProA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Chemnitz will need more victories to improve their 12-8 record. In the team's last game Johnson had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Chemnitz, through which he has constantly improved. Former University of Central Florida star has very solid stats this year. Johnson is in league's top in points (9th best: 17.0ppg), assists (2nd best: 5.5apg) and averages impressive 59.0% 2P-FGP.

Da sieht man aber auch mal wieder, welche "Experten" bei der Jungen Liga für die Bewertungen zuständig sind.
Beste Effektivität = Spieler des Tages. So auch dieses Mal. Will die Leistung von Jeremy Black aber keinesfalls schmälern. Warum allerdings die 36er Effektivität von Gary gegen Essen nicht gereicht hatte? Erinnere mich auch an das Perfect Game von Ishi (100 Prozent in allen Statistiken), daß auch keine Beachtung fand. 
Aber für diese "Experten" waren wir ja auch ein Abstiegskandidat...
