jo klar, die Texas Western . College ist zwar kultig, aber seine Stats lassen schon noch ein paar Fragen offen. Könnte schon ein solider Mann für die ProA sein....hatte mir aber schon ein anderes Kaliber für Jena vorgestellt.

Beran Signs with Pro Team in Germany
Former HLV standout basketball player Ben Beran has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Germany.  He will play for USC Heidelberg in the European Pro A League.  USC Heidelberg is one of the top teams in the league and will be seeking its 14th league championship.  The European Pro A League is one step below the Euro League, which is the European equivalent of the NBA.

Beran will leave for Germany on August 20th.  He will take part in the teams training camp and exhibition games before the start of the regular season in early October.  The team will play a regular season schedule consisting of fifty to sixty games, followed by the start of post-season play.

After an outstanding athletic career at HLV in which he excelled in basketball, football and track, Beran played Division I basketball at South Dakota State.  He finished 11th on the all-time scoring list at South Dakota State scoring list with 1285 points.

Naja wenigstens ist er diesmal angekommen....das Glück hatte Cuxhaven letztes Jahr nicht . Klingt alles etwas komisch mit den "langwierigen Verhandlungen". Ansonsten guter Mann, aber ich weiß ich nicht wie Bremen zur Meisterschaft kommen will. Also ich sehe schon jetzt 8-10 Teams (incl. unserem) die nicht schlechter als das der  Bremer besetzt sind.

DC mit seinem ersten Spiel für Dorsten gegen Hilden:

Shooting Guard Cohen stellte gleich einmal eine Bestmarke auf. Bei 28 Minuten Spielzeit erzielte er insgesamt 41 Punkte und 8 Dreier (bei 11 Versuchen), dazu kamen dann noch 9 Rebounds, 4 Steals, 5 Assists und 4 spektakuläre Dunks.
